These Terms of Service govern your use of PageMon's error monitoring service. By using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PageMon's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PageMon. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use our services.

Service Description

PageMon provides real-time error monitoring and notification services for web applications and APIs. Our service includes:

  • Error detection and logging from your applications
  • Real-time notifications via email, Slack, Discord, or webhooks
  • Dashboard for viewing and analyzing error data
  • AI-powered error analysis and recommendations (Pro plan)

Account Registration

Account Requirements

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Account Security

You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We will not be liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

One Account Per User

You may only create one account per email address. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent service limitations is prohibited.

Acceptable Use

Permitted Use

You may use our service to monitor errors in your legitimate applications and receive notifications about system issues.

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Use our service to monitor applications that violate laws or regulations
  • Send spam or abuse our notification systems
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise our security
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated systems to overwhelm our service

Billing and Payments

Subscription Plans

We offer free and paid subscription plans. Free accounts have limited features and data retention. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $10/month.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method for subscription fees and any applicable taxes. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

Billing Disputes

If you believe there is an error in your billing, you must contact us within 60 days of the charge. We will investigate and resolve billing disputes promptly.

Price Changes

We may change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be grandfathered at their current price for 90 days after any price increase.

Failed Payments

If payment fails, we will attempt to collect payment for up to 7 days. If payment is not successful, your account will be downgraded to the free plan.

Data Usage and Limits

Service Limits

  • • Free accounts: 1 application, 7-day data retention, basic notifications
  • • Pro accounts: Up to 10 applications, 30-day data retention, full features

Fair Use Policy

While we don't impose strict limits on error volume, we expect reasonable usage. Excessive usage that impacts service performance may result in account limitations or suspension.

Data Retention

Error data is automatically deleted after the retention period for your plan. We do not guarantee data recovery after deletion.

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

PageMon and all related software, documentation, and materials are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

Your Rights

You retain ownership of your application data and error information. By using our service, you grant us a license to process this data to provide our services.

License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our service according to these terms for as long as your account is active.

Privacy and Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

You are responsible for ensuring that any data you send to our service complies with applicable privacy laws and regulations.

Service Availability

Uptime Commitment

We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

Service Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes when possible.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, government actions, or third-party service failures.

Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time through your dashboard settings. Termination will take effect at the end of your current billing period for paid accounts.

Termination by Us

We may terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms, engage in prohibited activities, or fail to pay required fees. We will provide notice when possible.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to the service will cease, and your data will be deleted according to our retention policy. You remain responsible for any outstanding fees.

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Disclaimer

Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability to you for any damages arising from or related to these terms or our service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

No Consequential Damages

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PageMon, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
